The Snow Angels Are Back
Most people would agree that 2020 has been a year of incredible challenges. Businesses have taken a huge hit and that has had a big impact on nonprofit organizations and citizens everywhere. At CNA, we have seen the nonprofits that we support struggle to carry out their work; Veterans North East Outreach Center (VNEOC) is an example. We have added plowing at their resident housing and have many additions to the Snow Angels list. Last year, we helped 28 senior citizens and disabled individuals. Today, the number has grown to almost 40 homes and apartments. We remain committed to helping wherever we can and have increased from one to two teams of volunteers. We have also added a plow truck to use at larger properties. At CNA Stores, Inc, service and volunteerism are at the core of our mission. The Snow Angels will continue to provide assistance wherever we can to support our communities throughout the winter season.Requests for snow removal assistance should be directed to the Haverhill mayor’s office, the Amesbury Senior Center, or VNEOC. They will compile lists and send them to CNA.
